ConvertAll 0.5.2 Review |
Softango review
Nothing is more frustrating than having to visit a European or other foreign country and have to think and convert units of measurement back and forth between the metric system and the standardized system. Without a conversion table or an application that does all the calculating work for you you could easily go insane. Convertall was written by a man who faced such obstacles and found more obstacles when he wanted to convert units of energy and units of survey measurement and couldn't find an adequate table or application to do just that.
Convertall does, in addition to these special features, manage to provide an easy to use converting program for other units of measurement. It slides in nicely with the Windows version of the unit data file, so it's a lot like an add on for the program rather than a stand alone program. All Windows operating systems can support it without issues, which makes it an even nicer addition when you need to convert a unit of measurement. What's really great about this free download is that it isn't just a trial or demo; you get the whole download for keeps.
Now when you travel and have your laptop with, there won't be any more infuriating and sticky situations where you're trying to figure out miles to kilometers, or centigray radiation dose unit, or chain link length if and when you would need those scientific or surveying conversions. Quick and convenient, it'd be right there; your ConvertAll would do the work for you.
