The most recent DiskMarkStream Alpha release is a Windows 7-supported system diagnostics tool add-on. The software is distributed as shareware by emoacht. DiskMarkStream is used during the CDM (CrystalDiskMark by hiyohiyo) process to relegate commands without IT worker interaction. This task is completed through macros pre-defined by the end-user. Optimum functionality is achieved with Ver.3.0.1c of CDM. The official CrystalDiskMark website has listed DiskMarkStream as a useful add-on. The program completes both screenshots during diagnostics and logs the result file automatically, allowing several drives and parameters to be tested concurrently. A simple graphic user interface is employed in this third-party software, which bears no affiliation to CDM. The 0.1.3.0 Alpha update of DiskMarkStream is to change cursor point resolution when the dots per inch is over 100. The download includes an extractable zip file, requiring the third-party software WinZip, WinRar or equivalent. As of February 2011, the software has now reached beta release. Newer versions than alpha enhance log file capabilities (.csv formats), better comment functionality, data alignment, and more DPI changes. Although the download is free for personal use, the source code is closed and customer support is not offered by emoacht. System requirements include .NET Framework 4.0.
