Okay, so everything you log into these days requires a password. Some it's case sensitive, others not, some want alphanumeric, others it doesn't matter; the end result is the same. You can't remember all the passwords and have to reset half of them to log into whatever you're trying to get into.
I've been there. I'm still there. I'm getting older and can't remember what password I use for online banking versus what password I use for ebay. It's gotten so bad I have to write them down, even though you're not supposed to do that. That's why this free download is so awesome. Password Manager helps you keep track of all the passwords you use and what you use them for. This also stores lots of other security information on your PC in any number of databases you wish to create; just be mindful they also require a password to open. I love the fact I can transport all this info safely on a USB flash drive because Password Manager lets me download it onto one. It's really cool too that I can access Password Manager from any computer anywhere to get to my information, but it's completely encrypted so no one else can hack into it. It integrates right into Microsoft Explorer, and Firefox 4 and 5, Opera, and Google Chrome are all supported.
What's disappointing here is that I was only able to try it out for thirty days and it has a nag screen that keeps telling me how many more days I have left to use it. Really obnoxious, so I'm considering the upgrade to the full version. I have Win7, and works great with it; I guess it had issues before I downloaded this version, but it seems to be working fine here. (It's supposed to work with all Windows OS, but I can only attest to its function on Win7). I have Password Manager on my iPhone, too, only the app functions are much more basic, and if I lost my phone, that would be bad. I love it though! No more confusion!
