If drafting survey maps and planes is part of your career or course of study, Copan Pro is the easy to use solution. Engineers, students or surveyors will be pleased with the easy to use desktop or net book application that will allow them to integrate all calculations with accuracy and precision.
With supporting software for most common formats such as Geodimeter, Leica, Wild, Nikon and TDS total station, you can draft with in model-space or paper-space, via mouse cursor or via Coordfile point. Coordinate files may be accessed by UGL’s version of Windows Free42, an HP-42S simulator program, or copied to a memory card and used directly by the Palm OS, Pocket PC and Mobile versions of Copan. And with continuous saving of coordinate file, there is no need to manually save, and little chance to lose valuable data in the process!
Key features of Copan Pro:
· Encompasses all the capabilities of Copan Lite: COGO, field and map calculations, coordinate transformations, import/export capabilities, and other functions.
However, this is a pro version of Copan, and adds numerous drawing tools that will be needed by the high level student or professional. Among these are:
· Draw lines, arcs, poly lines, and compounds of same.
· Add labels.
· Change line style, text style, drawing layer.
· Define symbols.
· Work in model-space or paper-space.
· Position via mouse cursor or via Coordfile point.
· Add viewports: views of model from paper.
· Processes Leica Level data.
You have the option of setting up auto save of the work in progress the same as the coordinates are saved, once again to avoid losing valuable data.
