ENEX - Evernote Archive is a file that is exported through Evernote and its primary function is capturing personal notes for a number of different functions and options. These notes are usually saved in the Evernote Export XML file format which contains, both binary file attachments and or written notes, each of which are embedded or encoded within the XML markup as text blocks.
Evernote provides the option for the user to synchronize their notes within the program with their cloud based online product which will allow the user to gain access to their notes from any computer, mobile device, or smart device with ease.
This is a simple, but very practical function with the primary function of allowing the use to execute local backups as well as conduct manual transfers of files.
To export a note file, simply choose the file and click Export File to Archive. To import you would simply choose Import File to Archive.
