File Extension XHTML

Information about XHTML files and how to open them

Web page creation using XHTML - Extensible Hypertext Markup Language File is very similar to creating pages using HTML 4.01, although the rules are stricter and the end result is much cleaner. XHTML is supported by all browsers and is defined as an XML (Extensible Markup Language) application. Standard HTML tags are used, so the transition from straight HTML to XHTML isn’t difficult. Most web pages created today use either the XHTML 1.0 or XHTML 1.1 specification.
