The LoadDVD review is high because it is an efficient plug-in that works with various versions of Windows. It is designed to create a custom toolbar for each DVD profile which is selected. The toolbar will contain a single icon for every disc that is defined in its profile.
One of the benefits to this program is it allows for substitutions. Those who don’t want to wait for the icon drawing process can choose text to be set in its place. This is found in the options panel of LoadDVD, directly under Tools.
There is also the possibility of a menu. Users will need to go into the context menu and then into the Collections window where it will be possible to see the “Play/Retrieve Disc”. This is where the submenu is for each of the discs in the profile.
LoadDVD utilizes “slot”,“location”, and “notes” fields for the Personal Information portion of the DVD profile. This makes it easy to make a few comments about the DVD for any reason. The field for notes is considered non-exclusive.
The program is very easy to use. The interface is self-explanatory and will walk users through the entire process. Ultimately, it’s a good program to customize DVDs on a computer a little further.
