Playing music using an iPod and personal computer has never been easier. The pcYourPod application lets you play your favorite songs straight from you iPod onto your computer. The interface is user friendly and is similar to the interface of the iPod. This makes accessing the iPod features easier with a click of the mouse or with the use of the arrows on the keyboard.
You can backup copies of your iTunes database for security purposes. No more accidental file deletion. Make backup copies of your music to your computer from your iPod. All you need to do to get started is connect your iPod to your computer. The files displays as a normal disk drive. Just make your backup files from any computer; whether you are at home, work or at the public library. There may be a slight delay when the CD rom driver begins reading the data located on the CD or DVD. To avoid this delay try updating the CD or DVD drive with new drivers.
When the details screen shows up you can copy your songs by selecting the copy feature. A dialog window will open and from there you can specify exactly which file you want your music copied to. With the latest feature available within the software you can rename your music files based on the information provided by your iPod. ITunes is known to rename songs when they are loaded onto an iPod. You can use the mouse and the shift or control key function to select multiple songs.
The pcYourPod application has built in features that searches for mobile devices or pocket pc devices that may be connected with ActiveSync. If any device is found the copy selected will appear on the screen. From the details window select the songs you want to copy and select and press the device button. The songs will be copied to My Documents inside the music folder.
The application pcYourPod supports various languages such as German, French, English and Spanish. The desired language can be selected from language menu. This software is compatible with the latest versions of Windows platform operating systems.
