PowerArchiver is what you might have guessed from the name: simply a very potent archiving utility. The software's explorer-based layout ensures an intuitive user interface so that you can launch the application and immediately start working. You won't need to watch any Youtube tutorial videos just to figure out how to use the software, most users will be able to figure it out right out of the box.
The 2012 edition comes with scheduled data compressions so that you can automatically archive your data from time to time while the FTP client allows multiple users.
Tests have shown the PowerArchiver compressing up to just over a GB of data to one third the size in about five minutes. This isn't bad in comparison to other archivers on the market.
