If you work with electricity on a regular basis and need the ability to map out support for different electrical lines and make sure it is able to work, whether it is for a a design you are working on or if you just like to experiment and test out circuits, the Qucs software is the perfect programming option for you. This is an open-source circuit simulator, which is going to allow you support simulations of just about any sort of electrical current, ranging from DC and AC to S-parameter, Harmonic Balance and noise analysis.

After you have downloaded and installed the program, you can find different bundled components inside of the program, which in turn allows you to map out and create the exact electrical current situation you might find yourself in. This includes resistors, inductors, capacitors, grounds, amplifiers, isolators, circulators, attenuators, probes, transmission lines and other electrical current creating and conducting equipment. With the application, you can also draw in lines, arrows and other information to the created diagram so you can point out the flow of the electricity, which is especially important, should you need to make a presentation to individuals who might not understand the entire complexity of the electrical current you have created.

The Qucs software is easy to use and allows quick and easy cuts and edits, without requiring you to redo the entire design. This way, if you are using this for a school project, you can remove certain elements and have students fill in the gaps in order to complete the circuit. This makes for an excellent demonstration on the flow of electricity and what is required to complete a circuit.

The software has the ability to save in a large number of file formats, including: DPL, SCH, VHD, OT, M, V, and VA, depending on your particular needs. So, if you are looking for an electrical diagram and simulator, this is the perfect program for you.
