If you have an old iPhone or original iPod lying around that for whatever reason you did not trade in when you traded up and you'd like to transfer your music files or some other files, Tipard iPhone to PC Transfer is a nice little application for that problem. Original i-"anything" up to iPhone 3S and 3.0 operating systems are the only ones this can work with, so don't try it with anything newer. It isn't meant to help with the updated phones, although it works with the iPods just fine.
It's a fairly easy app to use; once you download the Tipard iPhone to PC Transfer it walks you through to the point where all you have to do is click, click, click and you have transferred the files you wanted to transfer and save. There's also an added feature that lets you see the success rate of the transferred files and lets you know when some files have failed to transfer. Hopefully those files are nothing of significant importance to you otherwise it kind of defeats the purpose of transferring them over to your PC.
Incidentally you have to connect your iPhone by USB cord and only the oldest Windows operating systems (NT through Vista) are supported, which is fine because your old iPhone or iPod couldn't handle the transfer onto a newer Windows OS.
